Great to say I'm back !

Yeah , after nearly a month of  not blogging , I'm happy to say I'm officially back . Have not been posting for a long time due to a variety of reasons , exams and so forth .

Meat !

For all you meat lover out there , here'a an interesting bit of information . You've all had bacon right ? Or atleast dreamed of having it ? We all know that nothing beats fried bacon . Well something does actually . It's also pork , but only it comes from a different part of the animal . Bacon you see, come from the belly of the pig , and that meat has a specific name . It's called the panchetta . But the tastier bit is found in the cheek of the pig ! Can you imagine that ? That meat is called the guanchiale , I think ( forgive me but the spelling might be wrong , but if you pronounce it without the 'i' in the middle , that's exactly how to pronounce it's name ) This guanchiale , is found in such small quantities , that you dont even get it in strips like bacon of the panchetta . You get it in cubes , finely diced and chopped . Rumour has it , fried crispy guachiale practically OWNS bacon ! Hard to believe right ? Well , I'm an Indian , and pork isn't exactly the most common thing on my daily menu , so if your'e wondering how I got to know all this , it's from Masterchef Australia Season 3 ! Man , I love that show !

Back after a long time - courtesy , the exams !

Errr.......... not posted in a long time . Well exams are really taking us to our limits , so it's just not happening really . Well 1 week over , and a hell of a week incoming . And 2 more days after that . Yeah I'll survive . I hope . Well , here's just some random stuff that I found out recently .  We have a story in our English syllabus about how racial discriminations still affect things like marriages , in underdeveloped tribe dominated parts of countries like Africa . So the story there takes place in Lagos . , Nigeria . Now , the first part of the very popular film X-men Origins Wolverine was also shot in Lagos ! You pretty much get a big view of the city in the first part of the film .

Naruto Shippuden Opening 9 - It's done !

Phew ! After lots of hard work , I finally did it . I cant quite believe it yet myself . My own video's on youtube !!!! Like really !!! And it's working ! Well , if you've read the first few posts of mine , you'd figure out I'm a fan of naruto . Well , the anime ranks as one of my favourite's of all time , and hopefully will continue to do so for a quite sometime on the future . I had made up my mint to post naruto's latest intro song and comment about how awesome it was and all , but I coudn't find it on youtube ! Like seriously ! All the intros I got there were just ..... well their quality was sad , you could say . Well , I'd post a link to narutoget.com and tell readers to see it from there but that's just lame right ? So I'm gonna make a separate video of the new intro and post it here , as well as on youtube ! Nice idea right ? Well , it's gonna take some work . But hey , maybe it'll be worth it , who knows ? I don't actually upload things on youtube as such . I just see videos there . This might be a new start . The intro I'm talking about hasn't been uploaded yet . ( I'm serious , I spent 15 bloody minutes checking actually) , so I'm gonna do it . Will give link in my next post , after I'v finished .

Anime

Well , judging by my friends and the other people around me , I would seem to have a rather odd habit for someone my age .The fact is , I like anime . Well everyone liked it when they were kids , I mean . Cartoons were all that we used to see right ? In those days ? But I still like them , to be honest . Well don't get me wrong ,  what I'm talking about is not cartoons . It's anime . Yeah , that sounded weird , but actually , there's a HUGE difference . Cartoons refers to all 2 D moving characters in general  . Anime is something much much more special . It's a special sort of art , you could call it , that originated in Japan , years ago . That's what separates them from all other cartoons in general . The characters , there's a special type of drawing them . That make them look real , like actual beings with lives and emotions , but not overdoing it , so it seems like they're actually real , like in real life . That's the thing which never fails to entertain millions of people , it's a hugely popular thing all around the world . If you go to youtube , and check out anything to do with anime , like an intro song of a certain series perhaps , youll find good comments , by people of ALL age groups .Well , when you see a film , what you see the characters doing in pretty much confined to the limits of how well the guy hired to act that character can pull it off . But that's never actually completely possible you know ? Cause the scriptwriter and director probably have an idea of what they want that particular character to do in the film , and they guide the actor in that way , but in very few cases does the actor actually manage to pull it off . And when he does, the film that comes out is either an oscar-winning superhit , or a well known blockbuster that not only tops the charts but remains in the hearts and minds of the people for a long long time to come . But in anime , each character is skillfully drawn , form scratch , in each frame , so the expressions and feeling, the faces, the things that make us anticipate to actually find out what's gonna come next , that feeling of suspense , those things are explained as clear as water . Also the emotions are simple so what that character's face is menant to show , or what he's probably feeling , can be clearly understood . The actual reason why im writing this is something that happened yesterday . I see lots of shows on TV and good ones , with great stories an aweomse characters and lots of interesting action . They feel good , but what they actually provide is a way to spend time . Yesterday , after trying to memorize civics in vain for 4 continuous hours , I took a break . I was having dinner at the time , so I opened the TV . Nothing good in Star World , Star Movies , or HBO , so I switch to Animax . I see " The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya " showing again .( which is a movie of a popular anime series in Japan) I had seen a bit of it yesterday itself , when it had also been showing in the morning .That one hour left me SO engrossed that I couldn't get it out of my head for the entire of last night . Like seriously .It's just the style that unconciously draws you in , and before you know it , you've forgotten about four food , and you're staring at the screen , lost . The most fucked up thing was I couldn't see what finally happened at the end after John actually found Haruhi and they decided to secretly break into North High . I had to leave to bloody practice maths for my coming exams . It can't be helped , those are the curses of education , but I woudn't have given up that one hour for the world . The plot was SO interesting to me for some reason , that last night , I decided I would write a story about it . More about this , will be highlighted in my next post . So keep reading till then !

Helping someone out

A kinda weird thing happened to me today . Well you could call it weird for the fact that stuff like that normally never happens to me , or that even if it does , I don't actually have a hand in what happens . So back to what I was saying , me , and a group of buddies , after giving an exam in our chem tution( for which I had absolutely NO preparation , I mean cmon ! What the hell am I supposed to do if our bloody school gives us so much academic pressure . Its not like I'm free all day long , just whiling away my time ) anyways , it wasn't half bad ( compared to how bad i thought it could be) , well gotta admit all credit goes to the somewhat always happening general hall discussion there( if you catch my drift) . Yeah , so after all that we came out and decided to have chicken rolls . Well I told everyone that I didn't have any money on me , and I lied pretty much cause I had some  bucks in my bag , and I knew that. I never go to ANY tution empty handed .( for safety reasons u cud call it) Well the fact was I had made a secret pact with myself not to eat a single fatty or oily thing until I got visibly slimmer , a next to impossible resolution , but hey , I was gonna be upto it . But I couldnt help the fact that everyone wanted to have rolls ,  so I agreed . Fearing that I had no choice but having to break my newly made resolution already( which i didnt feel too bad about breaking for some reason ) we went outside to the roll stand . It was closed thank god . Well the next general option is always is phuchkas ryt ? So it was , we trudged all the way nearly upto the house of one member of our group before we found a phuchkawalla . I wasnt against having a few phuchkas , cause they werent that fatty , and they tasted great . And 10 wouldn't be a reason for  possible indigestion either . So 10 it was . I the middle of my 8th phuchka , I see this old lady , extremely thin and dirty . She was so thin her hands seemed to my just skin and bone . And she was dressed in an old torn 1 dirty white piece dress . She had the decency not to poke and beg like some others I have seen , but silently wait till someone noticed her , then plea for some help . To my surprise and concealed anger and surprise , 2 of my so called friends totally ignored her and went on eating phuchkas . And so did the third  . There was a girl member amidst our group who I think felt the same way as I did , and she said no one would would have to pay anything , and she would give her 10 rupees . I felt SO goddamn bad as she said that , that I opened my rucksack , and took out my wallet and rummaged through it for a ten rupees note that I could also donate . Who cared if my other buddies saw ? I would handle them later . I found only one not inside . Of fifty rupees . Which my mother had undoubtedly given me someday which I dont even remember . Wordlessly , and with a small smile , I held it out to her . She took it and I clearly saw the deep happiness that that small piece of paper had brought her with a surprise .The old lady gave me a sort of blessing in bengali i guess . I didn't say much .  The girl in our group talked to her a little , having given her 10 rupees herself . I dint say anything to anyone then . We finished our phuchkas and we all
went our different ways . I caught a last glimpse of that lady still standing there as I turned around and walked away in the other direction .2 of them lived there , and my driver was waiting for me . The girl would drop the last guy off in her car on her way home . These last two were the only ones who knew how much I had donated . I didn't explain my actions much to them or myself either . I just let it be .  On my way home , stuck in the traffic , listening to POWER fm amd not minding the insane humidity outside , I felt a odd satisfaction inside me , for what I had done . Hey that 50 buck note could have refilled my sms balance or treated me to 2 scrumptous chicken rolls , but I didnt care . Base line was she needed it more that I did , and probably I ever would . My mother was happy on hearing of my deed , when I reached home . But nothing can replace that weird satisfaction you get when you actually help someone in life , in the true meaning of the term.

White Collar

Undoubtedly one of the best shows of Star World . There's this guy , whos name is Neal Caffrey . He's not technically FBI , but he helps the FBI , and solves cases with his partner Agent Peter Burke( who's FBI) . Every episode is unique , and there's never a bore . Neal is what you could call the ultimate con artist . He can blend into any situation , and obtain important intel in unbeleivably awesome ways . Turn on Star World every day to catch new episodes of it's second season .

Damn man , spending most of my time in a room , sweating , reading stuff( school textbooks for exams obviously) . Stiff and bored . Badly need some fresh air , but cant help it , stuck !!

A bite of ecstasy

So one day , I come back from school to find that we have guests . I judge from the conversation and appearances that they must be friend's of my father . As I head for my room with my schoolbag , I see this red-golden box shining . So i pick it up and examine it . The words "Thornton's Melts Caramel " are written on top and I can see many round chocolates inside , decorated like toffees ( by indian standards) . Later that day , I decide to try one out . What reveals itself on opening the wrapper is a ball striped evenly with the colours of milk and dark chocolate . The name of the confectionery is melts right ? So I test the ' melting ' capability of the chocolate . Oh , did I mention that Thornton's is a confectionery brand of UK , so expectations were even higher than usual . On sucking and not biting for approx 30 sec , it started to melt . A creamy sort of chocolately taste filled my mouth , not bad , but nothing new . this continued for the next 20 sec . After the chocolate ball was getting smaller and smaller , suddenly a crack appeared along it's side , and it literally exploded in my mouth . What poured out was delicious golden liquid caramel . Uhhh , the taste can't be compared to anything else . We all know what caramel tastes like right ? But this , this was the very best quality caramel made in London and it was covered everywhere in my mouth . I had been walking about and studying a text book of our school for a test the next day , and when this happened , I literally stopped pacing and stood with an expression of surprise and delight . Well after tasting one melt , all I can say is Dairy Milk ( india's so called best chocolate brand) cant even come close enough to kiss Thornton's ass.( yes , even considering products like silk and bourneville). I can only compare it to the other two best chocolates of all time ( by my choice ) i.e.- Hershey's Nuggets, and Ferro Rochers .One of these will just OWN one of your senses , taste that is . Well , here's what the box I have looks like , though it's already half empty by now :)

Goddamn education

Sure the half yearlies are coming up . Sure were in class 10 and this is the year we give our boards . Having to study all day so long that live almost seems to be devoid of anything else . This is surely not what it means to be enjoying  "childhood" the supposedly brightest time of our lives . It's sad because we can't do a single thing about it . 

Sometimes I wonder , if a sixteen year old could sell out Madison Square Garden and earn millions , just because he has a good voice , ok looks and and a cute smile , we could all attain fame couldn't we ? What does it take , huh , to become what we worship nowadays as a "celebrity " ?? I still don't know the answer . is it just luck on their part ? Or maybe fate or destiny ? But did god actually choose then for a reason ? Who knows ...... It takes more than being a good , friendly guy and working hard to acheive fame and getting people to know you . As years pass , teenagers are becoming the actual rulers of this world . Facebook , the worldwide internet addiction , that entranced billions and earned even more was invented by a man not more than 25 . Need i say anything else ?? The human race is clearly evolving , and we are the proof of it . So the next time you look down on your life as a worthless waste of time , ( as i often used to do , i admit) , i can say only one thing . Think again .

KFC

Was my little brother's birthday today . So in the evening we wen't out to KFC to celebrate . So stuffed with fried chicken and french fries now that I'm having trouble walking !

Stuck !

Was playing Batman Arkham Asylum , when I just happened to get stuck ! I mean I was in the medical facility level , and at a point u hv to rescue cash whos been trapped by joker's poison gas . So I reach the place , activate 1 fan , slice a rope from which i thug is hopelessly hanging from the roof . AND THEN WHAT ?? What to do ??? Where to go and how ??? If any reader's have played the game , please help by posting comments !

Witnessed the epic end of one of the greatest series of all time .

Sasuke's obtains Ultimate Mangekyou Sharingan !

Sasuke Uchiha after his last confrontation with Naruto , Kakashi and Sakura , right after his epic battle with Danzo , has to retreat , with the help of the mysterious Madara Uchiha . Later , he tells Madara , " I want Itachi's eyes ." Well if you excuse the typical " to crush Naruto once and for all " comment that he adds later , he's actually going to get Itachi's sharingan transplanted onto his ! Reason being that he was nearly blind anyway ..... showing off using Amaterasu and his Susanoo whenever he got the chance ! But the fact is that hell probably recover from this operation in a few episodes and then well get to see his new Sharingan ! A combination of his and his brother's !
